What to Expect
Whether you've attended church your whole life or never stepped foot in a church, Bethel Church is a safe place to bring your doubts, questions, and curiosities, regardless of your beliefs or background. We invite you to come and take a look around. What you'll find at Bethel is a group of people who truly desire to experience God and discover that life was never meant to be traveled alone.
How should I dress?
Bethel Church is a "come as you are" church. Jeans and ties are equally welcomed.
What's available for my kids?
We love kids!  Our facilities are safe and clean and each ministry is staffed by Pastor Freeland Hise with his wife Karon and a loving group of volunteers that will provide exceptional care for your children.
In our nursery, each child is given a number that can be flashed in the auditorium on a monitor if the parent is needed in the nursery during the service. (The nursery is in the east wing of our main building.)
Our Tiny Town and Kid City ministries are in our children's building. Tiny Town is for pre-schoolers, ages 3 to 5 years old. Kid City is for elementary age children, K-5th grade. We have an energetic and engaging worship experiences that runs concurrent with the adult services.  Check-in is required for all Kid City and Tiny Town activities. Check-in takes place at the north entrance of the children's building which is directly behind our main building. At the Check-In Station, parent/guardian fills out an information card and receives a check-out pass that is to be shown to the child's teacher when picking up child.
What if I'd like someone to pray with me?
There is always ministry time offered during or at the end of every worship experience.  The Bethel  leadership team is always available to pray with you.  We have well-trained spiritual coaches and prayer workers to help you with your journey with God. You can also email personal prayer requests or simply fill out the "Prayer Request" section on the back of your Connection Card when you attend.
What type of music will there be?
We see worship as the doorway that enters into God’s presence.  Psalms 100:3 says, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." Our worship band seeks to lead us through that door each week.  Contemporary worship is the norm for our weekend worship experiences.  There are times when timeless hymns are used to bridge the gap between old and new.  For us, it isn’t as much about style as it is heart. It is our goal that people experience the presence of God when they attend one of our worship services.
Will I be asked to give money?
Offerings are given as an act of worship for attendees who call Bethel their home.  We teach and practice Biblical stewardship of time, talent, and treasure.  For our guests and newcomers, your presence is a gift to us. We want you to be blessed without feeling any obligation to give. However, you are more than welcome to worship the Lord through giving if you desire.
How long does the worship experiences last?
Our worship experiences will last about one hour and forty-five minutes.
